Lets Face It, This Automotive Podcast Is Delicious

Lincoln had yet another rough month but it is hoping a a renewed commitment and a slew of new models in the coming year can bring the Ford brand back to relevancy with luxury car buyers.

Older drivers -- and there are going to be a lot more of them in the coming years as Baby Boomers hit their golden years -- may favor Lincolns, but the good news is that older drivers aren't going to wreck our trend of safer roads.

If cars don't let humans driver, then roads might be safer anyway. Volvo is making a big bet on self-driving vehicles and hopes to have a fleet on the roads in less than a decade.

Now we get to the creepy part of this podcast: First, having insurance companies monitor your driving habits could save you money and help improve the planet.

Pizza place on the go.
But more disturbingly, augmented reality promises to make all kinds of information about you and your car readily available and accessible in the coming years. Mathew got pretty freaked out about this idea and we had a healthy debate.

Pizza isn't always healthy, but this awesome mobile pizza place built out of a truck looks tasty.

One thing that isn't likely to be tasty are chocolate chip cookies baked on your dashboard.
