While cars are getting better at driving themselves, people appear to be getting worse at walking. The percentage of pedestrian deaths rose even as driver and passengers deaths fell. And the circumstances around of the deaths are interesting.

But can he podcast?
Perhaps technology can prevent some of those deaths. Ford is finding that its high-tech Driver Assist package is proving popular with folks pricing out it's new Fusion mid-size sedan.

Technology played a little havoc with oil prices this week when a report about Syria on Twitter sent traders buying.

That was good news for potential Ford C-Max hybrid owners. The EPA gave the hatchback a 47 mpg rating for city, highway and overall.

The C-Max is almost a mini-minivan, and that's good because minivans are getting cooler -- just slightly -- with car buyers?

Nascar is cooling off a bit, so much so that Chrysler is pulling out of the sport again.

We love to plan trips and a new site, RoadTrippers, offers some cool ways to avoid the beaten path.

Finally, London is pulling out all the cute stops for the Olympics, including a mini-Mini to retrieve things that people throw.
