This Podcast Will Get 54 Miles Per Gallon While Vacationing in the Worst Driving Cities

It's holiday travel time and most folks heading out for Labor Day will be driving. There will be more people traveling and they will be paying more for gasoline thanks to a hurricane that pushed up prices by 5 cents overnight.

The Obama administration finalized its new Corporate Average Fuel Economy rules for 2017-2025 which pushes the numbers to 54.5 miles per gallon. The Republicans are against the new rules, but the reasons why are weak.

While CAFE may not actually drive demand for more fuel efficient cars, GM is learning that the Volt isn't for everyone.

That's ok, because people are seeing the values of their cars remain strong. Which may be helping people pay their car loans. Delinquency rates are at all-time lows.

Finally, we look at the cities which have the best and worst drivers and one of the new camera programs that could improve things for the city with the most accident prone folks.
