Forget the Limo, Ride in a Fire Truck to the Prom

Because we are both from New Jersey, Mathew and I took limos to our proms and then had them take us down the shore for our post-prom festivities.

But as we talked about in this week's podcast, we loved this column by WSJ's Sue Shellenbarger about the oddball rides that some teens choose for the prom instead of the traditional limo.

For us, what you ride in reflects who you ware as much as your clothes, so arriving at the prom in something that is unique appealed to us.
