LED Traffic Lights Don't Melt Snow, Lead to Accidents

LED traffic lights are popping up everywhere for many reasons: They last longer and use less energy. Great reasons. But as this AP story points out, they don't generate enough heat to melt snow, and in places with lots of sideways snow, can lead to accidents.
